Prof. S. L. Saini Ph.D. in Mathematics the founder president of the Society started plantation in the year 1994 in Yamunanagar. Later with the public co-operation formed Yamuna Nagar Environmental Society (YES) at district. level and then Haryana Environmental Society (HES) at state level with the aim of Green and Clean Haryana.

Success at Yamuna Nagar inspired Dr. Saini to spread his activities to other cities of Haryana, and hence the Haryana Environmental Society, Yamuna Nagar (HES) was formed. The aim of HES is “Green and Clean Haryana”
